Terms of Service
Last updated: April 20, 2026
1. Purpose
These terms set out the conditions for using the stock information, portfolio management and AI analysis tools provided by Margin Call (the "Service"), and the rights and obligations of users and the operator.
2. Definitions
- "User" means anyone who accesses the Service and uses it under these terms.
- "Member" means a user who signs in with a Google account to store personalised data such as watchlists and portfolios.
- "Content" means all information provided within the Service, including market data, AI analysis reports and learning material.
3. The Service
The Service provides the following.
- Market data for global equities, plus watchlist and portfolio management.
- AI-assisted company analysis, sector reports and exit-strategy support.
- Learning content on investing terms and concepts.
The Service aims to be available 24/7, but may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, faults or events beyond the operator's control.
4. Nature of the investment information
All prices, analysis and reports in the Service are reference material for investment decisions. They do not solicit the purchase or sale of any security and do not guarantee returns. The operator holds no financial investment or investment advisory licence, and you are solely responsible for your investment decisions and their outcomes.
5. AI-generated content
AI analysis in the Service is generated using large language models such as Google Gemini. AI output can differ from fact because of training-data limits and the nature of the models, and the operator does not warrant its accuracy or completeness. Use AI analysis for reference only and always verify official financial statements and company disclosures before making an investment decision.
6. User obligations
- Do not misappropriate another person's account or collect another person's personal data without authorisation.
- Do not call the Service's APIs abnormally at volume or abuse them with automated bots.
- Do not reproduce or redistribute the Service's content for commercial purposes without permission.
- Do not exploit vulnerabilities or attempt to bypass security measures.
In case of violation, the operator may block access or suspend membership without prior notice.
7. Advertising
The Service is funded by Google AdSense and Google AdMob advertising. By using the Service you agree that ads will be shown. Ad content is determined by each advertising platform's policies and your interests; the operator is not responsible for the content of individual ads.
8. Intellectual property
Copyright in the Service's UI, design and original content (such as learning material) belongs to the operator. Copyright in the underlying market data belongs to the respective data providers; the Service cites and processes it through public APIs.
9. Limitation of liability
- The operator is not liable for service interruption or data loss caused by force majeure such as natural disaster, war or network failure.
- The operator is not liable for gains or losses arising from your investment decisions or trades.
- The operator's liability is reduced where the Service is limited by a third-party outage or policy change.
10. Changes to these terms
The operator may amend these terms within the limits of applicable law, giving notice in the Service 7 days before the amendment takes effect. Material changes will also be notified by separate means such as email.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
Disputes relating to these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If litigation is brought, the court with jurisdiction over the operator's address shall be the court of first instance.
